As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in key accounting tasks, including data entry, expense reporting, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings. You’ll assist with financial reporting, audit preparations, and tax compliance, while also contributing to special projects that offer opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with Daily Accounting Tasks:

  • Support the accounting team with day-to-day activities, including data entry and expense reporting.
  • Help reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing processes.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management. Contribute to the analysis of financial data and trends.

Audit Preparation:

  • Support internal and external audit processes by gathering necessary documentation and providing assistance as needed.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure tax compliance by assisting in tax filing on a timely basis
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records.

Other Duties as Assigned:

  • Participate in special projects or assignments as requested by the finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
