Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation is a major player in the Zimbabwean Mining Industry and a key contributor to the growth of the Zimbabwean economy through mining and mining development. The Corporation has the following exciting, fixed term opportunities that have arisen at our Golden Kopje Mine (Chinhoyi).
Duties and Responsibilities
• Securing the plant and ensuring access and exit control
• Formulating Security Standard Operating procedures, monitoring and enforcing adherence of the same
• Protecting mine assets and equipment from pilferage and abuse
• Monitoring all high-risk activities
• Providing escort for all high value goods in transit
• Monitoring Closed Circuit Television
• Monitoring, reviewing and improving all risk reduction and security enhancement measures
• Ensuring strict adherence to firearms regulations
• Budgeting for the department
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Policing and Security Studies or Equivalent
• Government Security Services experience (Police, Military or Equivalent)
• 5 O level passes
• Class BE (Class 4) Clean Drivers Licence
• 10 Years working experience
• Knowledge of firearms handling
