Job description:

PURPOSE

Provides team leadership to application support specialists in license management, support and system administration of general administrative systems off shelf or custom developed for departments such as CSR, Human Resources, Health, Safety, Environment and Training

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs support, maintenance and decommissioning of business applications
• Comply with established processes and procedures such as, configuration management and package maintenance
• Performs application system upgrades, installation of new releases, and migration to new systems
• Works as a subject matter expert in system administration for the systems under their responsibility
• Resolves application issues within established IT & Digital SLAs
• Follows change management process in implementing updates, improvements, and ensuring data security to business applications
• Contributes to systems documentation in the knowledge base and e-learning systems

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, data science etc. Masters will be an added Advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 7 years of related experience in Application Support management role
• Proven experience as an IS Superintendent or similar role
• Business relationship certifications such as BRMP (Business relationship management professional), ITIL v4 and CBRM (Certified Business Relationship Management)
• Python, R Programming, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Azure Data Services
• Member of ICTAZ or EIZ
