Under the direct supervision of the Programme Lead and the overall guidance of the Country Manager, the Programme Support Coordinator will perform the following duties:
Support programme implementation and ensure consistency with project design and goals;
Manage the coordination of work and information between IDLO and the Anti-Trafficking-in-Persons Secretariat;
Communicate and serve as a liaison between IDLO and the range of partners working on trafficking in persons;
Provide programme management technical support to national partners working on trafficking in persons;
Monitor project activities to ensure timely completion and make recommendations for timely and optimal course corrections;
Conduct research on legal, political, social, and economic events, trends, and/or developments that may impact project delivery; and produce analytical reports;
Provide advice on the country context and emerging issues that need to be addressed by IDLO;
Build relationships and maintain networks with the law and justice actors in the responsible country, particularly those supporting the Government of Cote D’Ivoire in its efforts to combat trafficking-in-persons;
Represent IDLO in programme events as required; and under the guidance of the supervisor, build relationships and liaise with donors, UN agencies, government institutions; civil society organizations and other stakeholders in the specific thematic areas and in the general rule of law and access to justice field;
Contribute to routine reports, briefings, analyses, and assessments as required;
Maintain professional and timely communications with and between partners and IDLO;
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- Graduate degree, Masters or equivalent, in Law, International Relations, Development Studies, or any other related field is required;
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within an international organization, is required;
- Professional experience in capacity development and rule of law programming would be an asset;
Specific knowledge, skills, and behavioral competencies
- Familiarity with the standard programme and data management methodologies, tools, processes, and results-based management and monitoring and evaluation principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Proficient use of other ICT software and internet software.

Provides constructive feedback and willingly helps others. Contributes to a fair environment that fosters collaboration and cooperation.
