Ensure that materials, parts, and finished products flow smoothly throughout the production and distribution process. Support the efficient operation of the Kiira Vehicle Plant by managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, arranging transportation, and continuously improving logistics processes. Through effective planning, cost control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards, maintain uninterrupted production lines, supporting Kiira Motors in meeting production targets and delivering buses on schedule.
Key Functions
- Shipment Coordination and Customs Management: Coordinate with forwarding and clearing agencies to facilitate the clearing operations of shipments from ports. Prepare, maintain, and update the customs exemption list for all materials, including raw materials and spare parts, in collaboration with the Procurement and Disposal Unit.
- Transportation and Receiving: Arrange transportation of shipments post-customs clearance, both domestically and internationally. Receive consignments from various stations, ensuring proper storage in designated facility areas.
- Material Handling and Movement: Load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site using pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. Interpret work orders or follow instructions to determine material or container movements, ensuring efficient handling.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Load materials into vehicles, securing them to prevent transit damage. Operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products; perform simple adjustments or repairs using hand tools.
- Work Area Maintenance and Additional Duties: Clean work areas, machines, and equipment using appropriate tools and compounds to assist machine operators. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Production Management to support overall operational efficiency.
- Prepare Monthly Work Plans and Reports: Develop and submit monthly work plans and performance reports, detailing progress and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
