This position description is for a Parking Lot Attendant who is responsible for safeguarding and providing attendant service to
Locally Employed Staff (LE Staff) vehicles and/or personnel at the staff parking lot. The position reports directly to the Facilities
Maintenance Admin Assistant.
Incumbent oversees access to the employee parking lot and observes all activities taking place in the lot area on a rotating shift.
Collects the gate key from the electronic key control box on the ground floor of the chancery in the morning and opens the gate to
provide employee access to the parking lot. At end of day, secures the gate and returns the keys to the key control box.
Ensures that only embassy employees with valid badges or vehicles authorized by the Regional Security Officer (RSO)/Assistant
Regional Security Officer (ARSO ) are allowed to access and park in the employee parking lot.
Does not permit anyone inside the control booth except authorized personnel.
Keeps a daily log book of vehicles entering and leaving the parking lot area.
Protects vehicles from damage, theft or trespass.

- EXPERIENCE:
- One year experience in a security-related field is required.JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Recognize license plates from host country and those from other countries.
- Education Requirements:
- Completion of primary school is required.

- LANGUAGE: level 11 Basic knowledge in English.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to follow instructions, to be alert, and to be reliable. Limited numerical skills are required in order to record.
