The role exists to carry out day to day shift operation of Aggregate Crushing by supervising a team of operators in ensuring availability and smooth running of the crushing activities.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure Safety of all activities carried out within operating site both by KML and Contractors on site.
- Ensure all the KPIs are achieved at any point of operation.
- Ensure the available stocks of safety equipment, tools, and spares are maintained.
- Ensure the plant availability in terms of Operation and Maintenance for smooth operations.
- Ensure that the material is accounted for, material source, Stocks and Dispatches are accurately recorded.
- Ensure the organization of support services is smooth and transparent.
- Ensure the Mobile equipment in the area adheres to standard operational procedures and checklist are filled accordingly.

Experience required to perform in this job:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a crushing environment.
- Must be familiar with Jaw and Cone crusher operations.
- Experience in an open pit setup is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Minimum diploma in any Engineering field.
- A bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate.
