Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Setup
- Install, commission, and configure Tetra Pak equipment, including filling machines, processing units, and packaging systems.
Maintenance
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Tetra Pak machinery, ensuring all equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
Troubleshooting and Repair
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues with Tetra Pak systems, and carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, addressing any operational or technical problems with equipment.
Upgrades and Modifications
- Assist in the installation of upgrades, modifications, and new systems to improve production efficiency and equipment performance.
Calibration and Testing
- Ensure that machines are calibrated and tested to meet operational specifications and industry standards.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine performance, and service history.
- Complete service reports and document any issues, repairs, and solutions.
Training and Guidance
- Train operators and customers on the proper use and maintenance of Tetra Pak equipment.
Compliance
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards while performing duties.
- Ensure that equipment complies with local and international regulations.
Customer Relationship
- Foster strong relationships with customers by providing high-quality service, responding to inquiries, and offering solutions to meet their needs.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of Diploma in Electrical Technician / Technologist or any other related qualification from a recognized institution of learning.
- Must have a minimum 5 years of similar experience, from only same industries.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of Tetra Pak equipment or similar food processing and packaging machinery.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), sensors, and industrial automation is required.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
