” Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Dr. T.L. Osborn said , ” You could preach a thousand years and never get close to preaching the gospel.” We should be careful that we don’t miss the important things of life whilst we practice many good principles. You could work hard and become very successful in the eyes of the world, but that is not what we teach in Christianity. In Christianity, we teach SUCCESS IN HIS NAME. That means our reason and foundation for all that we do is rooted in our Faith In Christ Jesus. We go to the gym in his name, we study our books in his name, we do business in his name. We think right, speak right, and do all that is right, not as philosophers do, but we do all that through Faith in the name of Jesus. Colossians 3:17 says, ” And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
We are not a club of people who encourage each other to just make money and live in healthy, we are a people who have received Jesus Christ as LORD and as a consequence, we are called to a glorious life which we live. Many things we do may be very similar to what some other people do in religions or businesses who do not believe, but the distinguishing factor is that we live in Christ and with his life and ability. Keep the Consciousness of Christ in your heart and mind. Make confessions to his name and always remind yourself that Jesus Christ is LORD of your life. If you have heard me pray, I always start by declaring that the name of the LORD IS JESUS. There will be no speaking in tongues, prophecy, or heaven to talk about if there is no salvation. There will be no need for Bible study without salvation and that salvation in the name of Jesus. When you go out to preach , don’t tell people about a religion, don’t go out and condemn people for their smoking, drinking, or whatever thing. Introduce to people a person who is out to save them and heal them and make them well, and his name is Jesus. Don’t let people hear a lot about everything else and miss out on the gospel.
Acts 8:5 says, ” Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.” Philip didn’t preach healing. He preached Christ. What does it mean to preach Christ? It means to preach that THERE IS A PERSON who heals, prospers, and saves. His name is Jesus Christ. I don’t apologize for declaring that Jesus wants you prosperous , healthy, and strong. The earthly benefits, however, are hinged on the fact that you believe in him and keep his word. The LORD JESUS himself declare in John 15:7 ” If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” If his word is not abiding in you then you are to amend your ways .
