The successful candidate will be responsible for  boiler operations and maintenance of machines and machine parts during crushing season and off crop.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To ensure boiler housekeeping done and maintained
• To ensure boiler furnaces cleaned(well-deashed)
• To ensure proper bagasse management
• To oversee and manage bagasse equipment during the shift.
• To oversee feed water stations operations.
• Ensure proper condensate level management is maintained within required limits.
• Ensure boiler feed water parameters (PH, TDS, advantage, hardness&Amersite) operates within required ranges.
• To ensure boilers Mabrey flashing done as per schedule.
• To do inspections of boilers equipment.
• Maintenance of boiler equipment’s during crushing and off crop.
• To reports all boilers issues/deviation to boiler foreman.

Job Qualification Requirements:
• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of Fitter Mechanics Level 1 from VETA
• Ordinary Level Certificate
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in boiler operation
• Basic training in industrial safety or ability to identify hazards and asses associated risks at boiler operations.
• Ability to use non-contact thermometer
• Trained on boiler Water treatment
• Troubleshooting of feed water equipment

Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Fixed Term Contract.
