To design and plan the 2G/3G/4G radio network to ensure that the Network is in its best health and Network deployments are in line with coverage, capacity and quality demands.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
•Designing & planning of the 2G/3G/4G radio network, inclusive of IBS, Repeaters (outdoor & Indoor), Micro PICO etc to ensure the most cost-effective technical solution is deployed to address coverage, capacity and quality constraints.
•Traffic and capacity analysis and planning for expansions (eNodeBs, BSC, DCS, TRX , RNC, Channel Elements, 2nd Carrier, Code, IUB, etc.) to ensure capacity for general network and also for events considering customer feedback and Medallia inputs
•Engaging with Business Units, Strategy, RAN Optimization, Transmission & Core teams to provide detailed radio requirements for rollout of new sites, BSC, RNC upgrades.
•Long range planning to evolve the network to a next gen network and to plan total cost of ownership considering technology improvement and enhancement.
•RAN support and Configuration management
