Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, including safety protocols and performance standards.
- Manage relationships with contractors, including performance monitoring and safety issue resolution.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure contractors are meeting safety requirements.
- Identify and mitigate safety-related risks, including non-compliance, accidents, and injuries.
- Continuously review and improve safety processes for contractors, including safety templates, workflows, and reporting.
- Supervise and recommend safety training for all contractors.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree in Health and Safety or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management in Health and Safety or a related field
- Experience with safety management systems and software will be an added advantage
- Experience in contract negotiation, review, and administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Clean Class B or C manual Driver’s licence
