Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring & evaluation and reporting all Young Mothers Project activities, under the guidance and direction of the CORE Desk Officer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in mobilization, coordination of young mother’s stakeholders at different levels, beneficiaries as well as provide staff and beneficiaries with technical support to enable efficient and effective implementation of the project.
- Participate in preparing monthly work plans and budgets to be submitted to the project accountant for checking and approval by the desk officer.
- Responsible in preparing monthly, quarterly and end of project narrative progress and financial for young mother’s project.
- Ensure safety and security of the program personnel of young mother’s project
- Be custodian of all program assets and ensure their security, rightful allocation, utilization, and maintenance in Omot project area.
- Initiate and participate in relevant networks that supplement the realization of the project goal and objectives.
- Participate in baseline survey of young mother’s project.
- Regularly, prepare case stories that will systematically document challenges, achievements lessons learnt and good practices.
Job Specifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Community Development or Psychosocial and any other relevant degree from a well-recognized University
- Three years’ experience in similar role
- Ability to communicate and interact well with people from different educational, linguistic, cultural and religious backgrounds
- Ability to speak the local language
