” Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
Psalm 98:4-7
There are things that directly affect the human spirit,for example; in a position of worry and anxiety, the human spirit cannot function with ease. There are also things that help our human spirits function with ease, fasting,a joyful and peaceful environment filled with rejoicing, and opens us up for the manifestation of the supernatural. Learn to sing, dance ,and laugh; it creates an unexplainable glory atmosphere for the miraculous. 1 Peter 3:1 and 7 says ” Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;…. 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” The later part says ” that your prayers be not hindered”. There are, therefore, things that can hinder your prayers,an environment where the wife is not submissive and the husband is not giving honor to the wife , quenches the spirit. Your prayers will be ineffective.
Ephesians 4:31-32 says ” Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”This is the only environment where we are guaranteed of results. You can’t mix faith with bitterness and have the word work for you. If you want a miracle in your life, get rid of bitterness, dont be long faced, and have a joyful spirit. Right there in your room or in church , dance not as a show but right from your heart. Release yourself to God. If you want to kneel or lift your hands , do so. Mix your emotions with your thoughts and words. Dont be looking through the window as you sing to God. Give it attention. Sometimes, closing your eyes can even help you focus.
An atmosphere of joy, praise, and worship is a spark for the flow of the miraculous. Play good music and get high in the presence of God. The church building is our dance hall. If you can spin, do it there dont seek another place to do it. If you want to play an instrument for God, do so. All the Ragae, Hip Hop, Rap, or RnB music you want to sing , do it in the house of God , for his glory. Let church be lighted up. We are called to an exciting life. Come on, be exceedingly free and joyful in your father’s presence.
