” And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
Mark 4:26-29
It’s strange how many people want and are expecting a harvest of a seed they never sowed. It would be absurd for anyone who never attended an accounting class or read accounting books to come out and ask, ” man of God, why is it I am not an accountant yet I serve God?” God is not an advocate for insanity and foolishness. We should be reasonable enough to know that sowing seed precedes harvesting. Expecting to just harvest without sowing anything is intending to commit robbery. If there is no investment of time, resources, and energy, then be sure it’s not going to produce profitable results._
Gal 6:7 says ” Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” If you are sowing nothing, you will harvest thorns and weeds because they are the only things that appear uninvited. Success and a glorious life are not by chance. True success is built up on a conscious decision to succeed and preceded by following a laid out plan for attaining the goal. You need to be sure of the results you want and then sow the necessary seeds for the expected results. You can not expect to establish goodness by evil means. There are seeds of poverty, failure, sickness, and frustration. If you keep them, you may end up sowing them, and they will bring about for you a terrible harvest. The bad things in your life are possibly a result of some bad seed you received and allowed to germinate in you, and now you are having a harvest. It is only through the word that evil trees can be uprooted from the roots. You can curse the root of your problems and sow a new seed.
I have said many times that if you don’t have it in you, you can not give it. You can’t speak wisely until you first load into you wise thoughts. Wise thoughts are initiated by subjecting your mind to wise thoughts. Meditating on foolish thoughts produces a dummy out of you. As he thinketh in his heart, so is he. Decide to be successful and victorious first, then discipline yourself to invest for the required output . You can’t expect to live a spiritual life and have no time for spiritual exercise , that’s absurd. Sow the right seed for the right harvest, SOW A PRECIOUS SEED FOR A PRECIOUS HARVEST that means , give quality time, resources, attention and energy before you expect an outstanding harvest. Mediocrity begets mediocrity, success begets success.
