“… let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
Heb 12:1-3
In our journey of faith, everything is not going to appear in a flash like some people suppose. Sometimes you need more time to witness some results you want, just like a farmer is patient to till the ground, put seed, manure and water it for months yet the harvest will come after 6 months of investment. Days of sowing and watering are not wasted days, DON’T FAINT JUST BECAUSE THERE ARE NO IMMEDIATE RESULTS. There are things that will not happen except you face trials for months or sometimes years, and you need not pray only for change but that you be strengthened. Jesus knew he had to die to become get us victory, there was no other option, he only had to be strong and endure the pain.
Christianity is not for people just escaping from heat. It gives us the power to stand with joy in the heat. James 1:2 says, “My brethren , count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations for the testing of your faith worketh patience…” Sometimes you say to the mountain ” be removed ” only to come back and see the mountain bigger. Don’t faint in your minds. Don’t suppose nothing is working. Mix faith with patience. You may not become a millionaire in the next 5 years, but if you keep doing the word and keep your millionaire vision alive and pursue it, you will be one of the millionaires of our day. It may even take you 15 years, i like reading biographies, and in following them, I have discovered that even the great Paul did not have 1 day of success in ministry. After 10 years of patience, sometimes 1 day will give you more than you ever dreamed possible.
If you pray for a specific salary, stick to it even if it has not come in 24 months, God will make sure all the money you declared and stood for comes to you in full. I prayed for something and declared that i had it but in 6 months nothing showed up, but after 6 months the miracle came and they paid me every dollar from the day i started declaring that i had the thing. I don’t give up, I don’t allow doubt because of opposition.
