The role holder will provide successful delivery of the planned maintenance regime, fulfilling its statutory obligations, whilst also providing a breakdown reactive response harmonizing both customer and organizational requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Form IV or Form VI Secondary Education with VETA Trade Test Certificate Grade One/ Level three in Electrical or above.
Must possess valid Tanzanian Driving License Class D, E or C.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience as an Auto Electrician doing troubleshooting and repair UG Equipment’s, CAT equipment’s, Sandvik Trucks, Loaders, and Jumbo.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performing electronic diagnostics on Equipment and other machines to identify faults.
Repairing electrical and electronic faults in Jumbos, Solos, CAT machines and IT`s and Normet machines, replacing damaged/faulty parts where necessary.
Performing checks and tests to verify the success of repair work.
Assembling and installing electrical and electronic systems in the equipment’s.
Preparing time and cost estimates for business unit.
Performing checks and tests to verify the success of repair work.
Carries out planned maintenance activities in line with maintenance schedules and helps to develop and maintain schedules in line with requirements.
Ensure all equipment’s processes are fully compliant with organizational and legislative health and safety requirements.
Responds promptly to all breakdowns, ensuring that equipment is returned effectively to production, whilst causing minimum disruption to its continuity and without compromising product quality or safety.
Should abide with all safety and environmental policy and procedures of the company.
