Job Requirement
Education:
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field is required, or
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years (with master’s degree) or 7 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in INGO procurement management.
- Experience in managing contracts for services and material is mandatory and managing contract in INGO, UNDP and UN agency is desirable.
- The post requires considerable experience of working under pressure and tight deadline.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and advanced knowledge of web-based management systems is required.
- Previous experience on projects funded by multiple donors in a crisis or post crisis is desirable.
- Experience in international procurement is desirable.
- Familiarity with the UN in general and UNDP procedures in particular and/or previous experience with the UN is an asset.
Required Language(s)
- Fluency in English and local language is required.
