- Registering guests and assigning rooms, check in and check out processes.
- Assisting in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
- Thoroughly understanding and adhering to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
- Those with knowledge of the reservations department will have added advantage.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with front desk software, like Hotel Master or Opera
- Good communication skills
- Malawi School Certificate of Education/hospitality management Paper.
