- Establishing sales goals and quotas for team members, providing training in sales techniques, and regularly reviewing performance
- Developing new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking
- Develop and monitor a credit control system in collaboration with sales and marketing, finance and executive team members.
- Overseeing the sales process from start to finish, including handling customer complaints and questions about products
- Managing the team’s schedule to ensure that they are meeting their daily and weekly goals
- Preparing journal entries, and credit notes and assisting with month end
- Establish policies that follow customer service best practices while ensuring customers submit payments on time.
- Monitoring competitors’ activities and recommending changes in product offerings or pricing to respond to competition
- Ensuring that the sales team stays compliant with company policies and procedures
- Motivating and inspiring team members to meet their goals by offering feedback and incentives such as commissions or bonuses
- Make notifications in client accounts of interactions, such as payments or purchasing activities
- In charge of new customer’s credit assessment, help the sales/marketing team
- Establish and maintain regular communications with clients to facilitate periodic payments
- Preparing reports on sales activities and progress toward goals, which may include gathering data from multiple sources such as customer records or marketing campaigns
- Maintain SAP Operations
- Arrange for account statements to be forwarded to clients each month, updating records when necessary
- Providing feedback to management on ways to improve sales performance or increase revenue through new products or service
- Keep customer files maintained with accuracy
- Ensuring payments are on track to be paid within the agreed terms
- Liaising with customers and the sales team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferable
- Minimum of 8 years Experience in FMCG is required.
- Must have understanding of SAP operations
- Ability to deal with problematic clients.
- Must be ready to take assessment/interviews immediately if shortlisted
- Such candidates must have good communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills and Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint..
- Candidates from Enugu location and its environs preferred.
