The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

• Track laying of Rails and concrete sleepers.

• Use rail cutting and drilling machine to cut and drill holes during repair works.

• Carrying out maintenance works on the surface rail lines e.g. screening ballast, lifting & packing of rail track.

• Remove and replace rusty and loose bolts with new ones on rail turnouts/ Lubricate turnouts.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.

• Certificate in permanent railway engineering as an added advantage.

• Knowledge in Track laying.

• 2 years work experience.

• Good interpersonal skill.

• Practical skills.

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
