KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Perform daily safety checks on haulage and mechanical lifting equipment.
• Execute safe cargo handling operations.
• Adhere to OHSE rules and legislation to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain operation of equipment.
• Account for the associated administration and reporting duties.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Two (2) years’ relevant experience, which should include Forklift driving experience.
• Code 8 Driver’s license.
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain professional and composed in high pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good decision making, judgement and communication skills.
