Duty Station: Duty Area
Job Purpose:
The quality assurance Assistant ensures that installations, materials, and workmanship meet approved technical standards, safety requirements, and organizational procedures. The role focuses on inspection, testing, documentation, and corrective follow-up to maintain high service reliability, customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
Result Areas:
1.
Field inspection of materials and connection works to verify compliance with approved standards, identify ineligibles and ensure resolution.
2.
Follow up on identified ineligibles to confirm resolution and report repeat challenges.
3.
Promote adherence to safety procedures.
4.
Work closely with field teams and contractors to clarify quality requirements
5.
Provide feedback to improve workmanship standards
6.
Documentation and reporting of findings and corrective actions

Personal Specifications:
Academic Qualifications:
•
Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
•
Minimum 3 years’ experience in field inspections, installations, or quality assurance.
•
Electrical Installation skills up to 415V (ERA Permit – class C) is an added advantage.
