KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO;)
To prepare wholesome meals for children and attend to their nutritional needs.
To lead the children in house devotions and reading the bible.
To counsel and provide any other behavioural support to the children, advising them on what is right and wrong through sharing life experiences with them.
To follow up on the children’s academic progress and ensure that the children attend to their studies and any school events pertaining to the child.
To train children to work by ensuring that a chore rota is provided and ensuring that children are involved in carrying out different home activities like cleaning, washing, and maintaining the general cleanliness of the house.
To monitor the general health of the children and ensure to report any cases of sickness to the village health unit and take care of the sick children.
To make reports and give feedback about the children’s general well-being and progress in all areas of their lives to the senior mothers and other partners.
To receive and take care of guests visiting the homes, for example, cooking special meals, taking, and orienting them about the home and the children.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE.
The applicant for the role should be aged between 35 and 45 years.
Good health conditions, for example, physical fitness and strength.
English literate with the ability to read and write.
