Job description

As an Account Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data within our organization. Your responsibilities will include accurately entering financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, generating financial reports, and providing administrative support to the finance department. Your attention to detail and ability to collaborate with team members will contribute to the smooth operation of our finance department.

Financial Data Entry and Maintenance:
1. Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems, spreadsheets, or databases eg Tally, ERP, Quick Book.
2. Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

3. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by reconciling discrepancies and verifying entries.

Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
4. Assist HOD Account in processing invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and other financial documents.
5. Assist HOD Account in preparing and issuing payments to vendors, suppliers, and other creditors promptly.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
6. Assist HOD- Account Generate financial reports, such as Production reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
7. Assist in analysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Administrative Support:
8. Provide administrative support to the finance department, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
9. Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.

Collaboration and communication:
10. Collaborate with other finance team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Other duties
11. To perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the superiors

Requirements:
• Diploma in accounting or related courses & a minimum of 2 years working experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and account software such as Tally, ERP, & quick Book.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Age Limit (Between 22- 30 years)
