Job Purpose
The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring proper accountability in line with SCSP financial policies and donor requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Record and post daily financial transactions accurately into accounting records

Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, petty cash records, and supporting documentation

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations

Maintain proper filing systems for financial documents and accountability records

Support budget tracking and expenditure monitoring activities

Assist in bank and cash reconciliations as required

Ensure compliance with SCSP financial procedures, policies, and internal controls

Provide support during internal and external audits

Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Officer
Qualifications and Experience
-
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-
Age 28 years and below
-
Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience, preferably in an NGO or related organization

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
-
Computer literacy, especially in MS Excel and basic accounting software
-
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
