To facilitate accuracy and timeliness in posting and payment of suppliers’ invoices, ensuring integrity of Accounts Payable balances and compliance with applicable laws and international financial reporting standards as well as policies and procedures established by the Company and the Group.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensuring integrity of suppliers onboarding process.
• Posting of suppliers’ invoices.
• Preparation of the pay run.
• Performing vendors’ and banks’ reconciliations.
• Preparation of cashflow projections.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws through proper treatment of vendors’ invoices and timely payment of applicable taxes.
• Assisting in handling external, internal and statutory audits.
• Preparation of the respective management reports as required.
• Focal point of contact with suppliers on all issues relating to invoicing and payments.

Qualification and competence required (all must be attained/possessed)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Qualified Accountant by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania (NBAA) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• At least 5 years of experience of which 2 years must be on a supervisory role.
• Conversant with using ERP (One who is experienced in using Pronto or SAP will have an added advantage).
• Conversant with using excel.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
