- An earned PhD degree in the relevant Thematic area from an Accredited University
- At least five (5) years of university teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer
- Must have at least 4 publications in credible and peer reviewed journals
- Successful supervision of at least 3 post graduate students to completion
- Evidence of attracting research funds and grants to support research initiatives or scholarly projects will be an added advantage
- A Professional Engineer in Good Standing with the Engineers Board of Kenya.

As an adjunct faculty you will be invited when need arises to:
- Participate in: a) Teaching b) Research c) Consultancy d) Community Outreach Programmes.
- Facilitate student learning using a variety of instructional strategies such as online platform.
- Participate in review of academic Programmes.
- Advise on teaching and research requirements.
- Focusing and support student learning outcomes by:
- Promoting cooperative learning, experiential learning and critical thinking.
- Maintaining academic integrity.
- Making reasonable provisions to accommodate student individual differences.
- Taking into account the needs and abilities of students.
- Co-supervise postgraduate students and maintain high level of research.
- Participate in application of grants for collaborative research.
