CENTRE FOR EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES INNOVATION AND DESIGN (CETID)
The Centre for Educational Technologies Innovation and Design (CETID) is dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning through innovative technologies. We support academic and support staff, and students in integrating cutting-edge educational technologies into their academic and administrative practices.

1.1 Administrative Assistant (1 Post)

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the CETID. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence in educational technology services.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Providing administrative support for the Centre as directed by the Director;
-Coordinating meetings, events, conferences and workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and communication;

-Organising and facilitating meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, and dealing with administrative problems and inquiries;
-Managing office records, inventory and procurement of office supplies and equipment;
-Serving as the primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and external stakeholders;
-Supporting the implementation of projects and initiatives within the Centre;
-Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence

-Updating the Centre’s Website and social media presence;
-Performing other duties as assigned to contribute to the effective functioning of the Centre.

Qualifications and Experience

-A relevant recognised University degree in Office Management, Administration, or a related field;
-At least three (3) years of proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an academic or educational setting;

-Proficiency in Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote);
-Excellent organizational and multitasking skills;
-Strong verbal and written communication abilities;
-Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
-Familiarity with educational technologies and e-learning platforms would be an advantage.
