To coordinate and account for all data capturing and administrative tasks for export containers, including vessel docking and departure records. The
role is further responsible for data record-keeping of vessels and jetties as well as the accurate recording of service sheet accounts, maintenance of
statistical data, and handle general administrative duties to support Synchrolift operational activities. The role reports directly to the Cost Centre
Administrator.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Maintain records and administration of vessels.
• Perform Synchrolift administrative duties.
• Process revenue and account information.
• Inform clients and customers of new rules and regulations of the Synchrolift.
• Communicate cost and relevant information to clients and customers.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and customers.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• A National Certificate (NQA Level 5) or equivalent in Office Administration, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics/ Supply Chain
Management, and/ or equivalent.
• Three (3) years’ relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Previous SAP ERP System experience will be an advantage.
• Code B Drivers License will be an added advantage.
• Good time management skills and organisational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
