The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance of machines and machine parts during off crop and crushing season.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carries out maintenance and repairs electrical breakdowns and troubleshooting at in the factory during crushing season.
- Carry out inspections according to checklist, make spot repairs where necessary and report all findings at daily meeting.
- Repairs any defective electrical machine during crushing and off crop.
- Attend all electrical breakdowns of machines and systems all over the factory during crushing season if needed.
- Monitor the performance of the electrical equipment.
- Ensures safe servicing of motors.
- Effective communication with others.
- Inspects machine condition and safety before starting up.
- Ensure safety of people and machines
- Reports defects of electrical equipment.
Job Qualification and Experience
- At least Ordinary Diploma NTA level 6 in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution or level 3 of more than 5 years’ experience in manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge in Electric circuits reading and interpreting, faults tracing and rectification.
- Motor rewinding experience will be added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge in electrical machinery, running behavior, safety and lock out.
- 2+ years’ experience working in electrical jobs in manufacturing industry.

Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on Permanent Contract.
