Background
Hashtag Gulu Initiative is a nonprofit organisation based in Northern Uganda, dedicated to the rehabilitation and reintegration of street-connected children and youth (SCCY) through holistic, community-led programming. One of our key strategies is the use of agriculture as a tool for social transformation and economic empowerment. We operate a training and demonstration farm in Paicho sub-county, serving as a learning space for SCCY and the surrounding communities.
Through our growing portfolio of interventions, we aim to equip young people with hands-on and life skills while promoting social reintegration, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and sustainable livelihoods. To strengthen our delivery, we seek dynamic individuals to support two core areas: agricultural programming and data-driven project performance tracking.
