As an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician you shall be responsible for the installation,
maintenance and repair of all styles of Air conditioning systems in buildings and related areas. You will
be responsible for proper functioning of all Air Conditioning equipment for maximum efficiency and
minimum downtime.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Performs maintenance, installation and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air
conditioning systems.
 Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and
established safety guidelines.
 To be able to read circuit diagrams and fix installations as per diagrams.
 To be able to trouble shoot and to find faults on different types of commercial and industrial
air conditioning equipment as well as refrigeration equipment.

Draw up schedule maintenance plans for servicing and installing refrigeration and air
conditioning related equipment.
 Ability to multi task and work in areas outside trade area when required
 Able to work with high level of safety focus
 Able to Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
 Perform any other duties as may be required
Qualification Required & Experience
 HND Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Engineering with a minimum of 3years working
experience.
 Demonstrate basic skills and working experience in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
 Excellent communications, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to
perform in a fast-paced work environment.
 Must have in-depth knowledge and experience in planned preventive maintenance
techniques.
 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
 Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment.
