As an Analytics Engineer for Sales, you’ll work closely with our Analytics Engineering team and key stakeholders in Sales teams across the globe, helping to sell our products more effectively.
Responsibilities
- As part of our data team, you’ll work closely with data engineers, analytics engineers and analysts across the business to develop our infrastructure.
- You’ll work closely with the most Senior Sales stakeholders
- You will own the quality of our sales performance and forecasting data models and reporting infrastructure, building dashboards in Looker. Built upon internal data and 3rd party tooling data (Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, etc.)
- You will support data enrichment of our Sales tools, to ensure Sales Reps have the right insights at their disposal where they do their work.
- Create robust documentation to drive awareness and standardize sales analytics terminology
- You’ll own the definition, quality and reliability for key Sales metrics, like Quota attainments and Sales pipeline funnel.
- Working closely with analytics engineering, you’ll help evolve our dbt model infrastructure
- You’ll collaborate closely with our data science teams to refine forecasting models
- You’ll build reporting in Looker, from highly curated and formatted dashboards that will see 1000+ viewers per months, to highly customizable self-service frameworks for specific stakeholders
Requirements:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, CS, or another STEM field
- You have at least 5 years experience in an analytical role
- Expert in SQL
- Experience in DBT (ideally 1+ year) and data modeling and metrics design
- Experience designing and implementing a data warehouse, modern BI architecture
- Experience with version control tools (GitHub, GitLab)
- You’re an excellent communicator, you know how to tell simple, but compelling stories with data
- You work well with people across the spectrum
