To assist the Electrical Supervisor with High Voltage Switching, skid transformer and switch gear repair and maintenance, trolley assist line maintenance and repairs, dewatering infrastructure maintenance and repairs, workshop repairs and maintenance, statutory checks and compliance.

Specific Job Responsibility

Ensuring that all maintenance and High Voltage Switching is carried out in a safe and efficient anner, to assure maximum reliability and uptime.

Meeting set work targets for daily work group activities in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Achieving results through prioritizing activities, monitoring the progress of assignments, and holding self-accountable for the results.

Motivate yourself and others in overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.

Planning & assisting in laying out of work on new projects.

Experience required to perform in this job

At least 2 years’ experience in similar role.

Proven experience with Electrical preventative maintenance with a focus on HV equipment, unplanned repair & installation tasks on plant equipment.

Relevant experience in the mining industry

Qualifications

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Electrical Craft Certificate
• Valid Zambian driver’s license
• HV Switching essential
• EIZ certificate
