The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

• Inspecting, assessing and repairing equipment.

• Welding and fabricating machines/equipment using relevant techniques.

• Completing defect dockets, work orders and other communicative documents.

• Ensuring adherence to all Mopani Health, Safety and Environmental Standards and Practices.

• Ensuring good housekeeping in the work areas.

• Adhering to all other assignments that are given that are lawful and fair.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.

• Craft Certificate in Welding.

• A Technician’s Certificate in Welding will be an added advantage.

• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
