• To install and maintain the electrical installations of Unit 2
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare the preventive maintenance schedule and ensure its implementation
• Prepare the list of critical spares of mechanical maintenance and inform stores to hold the minimum stock
• The electrical and instrumentation break down to be below 2%
• Ensure regular preventive maintenance is being carried out by team and monitor them on daily basis
• Daily shop floor rounds and observing the health of the machineries
• Timely submission of statutory returns and carrying out statutory checkups, for respective equipment as per the requirements of the government control authorities
• Selecting and training the mechanical engineers, Fitters and Operators
• To carry out the maintenance activities of Machineries, Material Handling Equipment’s, Pneumatic and Fluid handling equipment’s
• Participate and implement the Quality, Food safety and ERP system implementation
• Ensuring the quality, food safety, ERP systems don’t get affected due to the functioning of electrical department
• Weekly and Monthly MIS submission on time
• To carry out the other activities as per the requirement of the company
Education and Professional Qualifications
• Diploma /B.E – Mechanical
Work Experience
• 10-15 yrs work experience for a diploma holder or 7-13 yrs work experience for a degree holder
• Maintenance of machineries, material handling systems, pneumatic and fluid conveying systems etc
