Reports to the Study Coordinator. The incumbent manages all activities of the study to ensure the study is a success.
Main Duties
- Oversees all field activities
- Manages activity floats
- Manages all study documentation
- Supervises implementation officers, research assistants, community healthcare workers
- Provides input to study management on the key implementation challenges and solutions
- Performs QA/QC monitoring of study processes and acting on discrepancies immediately
- Provides input in preparing study-related reports/presentations as requested for studyfunders or other interested parties
- Participates in study sensitization activities
- Supports training of staff members as necessary
- Maintains confidentiality of study data and privacy of participants at all times
- Any other assigned duties/responsibilities for the successful functioning of the study
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum Degree in Development Studies/ Sociology/Public health/Adult Education or in another relevant area.
- 2 years relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research
- Demonstrated experience in program implementation
- Demonstrated experience working with communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good relationship skills with community and government departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and Bemba/Nyanja
