The Bakery Technology Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Bakery Technology unit at UIRI and ensuring that the unit’s objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities in the Bakery Technology unit to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
- Train, mentor, and manage production and support staff in the Bakery Technology unit.
- Oversee implementation of GMPs, GHPs and other quality management protocols in the unit.
- Provide oversight to UIRI’s satellite Bakery establishments
- Maintain plant records relating to supplies, inventory, and production.
- Prepare work plans, budgets, requisitions and reports for the unit
- Any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Bakery Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bakery operations or food production environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable.
