Through our two-year Fellowship, we recruit and train top university graduates and young professionals from all academic backgrounds to serve as full-time teacher-leaders (Fellows) in under-served, rural government-aided primary schools. The Fellows commit to improving the foundational literacy and numeracy skills of early grade learners, particularly in primary 1 to primary 3, where play-based learning is emphasized. This not only fosters creativity, social and emotional skills, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning but also aims to drastically enhance the learning and life outcomes of children in far-flung communities.
In addition to improving academic skills, the Fellowship is designed to develop the leadership potential of our Fellows.
Who is Eligible to Join the Fellowship?
University graduates of any course who graduated with a CGPA of 3.0+. They must be at most 30 years old for Ugandans and 35 years and below for refugees.
