Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Review of the maintenance tasks and procedures including JSA and SWP
- Responsible for day-to-day inspections, maintenance of the conveyor belt, structures and conveyor belt idlers
- Complete all PM sheet and other job-related paper works to a high standard and quality focusing on the accurate Information and submit to supervisor.
- Able to work on both Fabric and Steel code conveyor belts.
- Maintain a positive interaction and profession work ethics through effective, honest communication with supervisor and operations personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues associated to with break down and corrective maintenance in a timely manner
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping in the area during and after completion of the job/task
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Certificate in Conveyor belts splicing
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience working with fabric and steel code conveyor belts
- Competent in working with both rubber lining and tiling of hoppers, launders and lagging of pullies
- Ability to do cold and hot conveyor belt repairs
- Good communication skills
- Must be conversant with safe work practices
