Key Deliverables
- Sales Strategy Development: The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s sales strategy at a Branch level. This involves setting sales targets, defining sales territories, and creating plans to achieve revenue and growth goals.
- New Customer Acquisition: Identify potential customers and explore opportunities to expand the customer base in the region. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to generate new business leads. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify unique selling propositions for attracting new customers.
- Performance Monitoring: They monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, customer acquisition, and conversion rates. They also identify areas where performance can be improved and take corrective actions.
- Sales Forecasting: Accurate sales forecasting is crucial for planning and resource allocation. The Branch Sales Manager is often responsible for predicting future sales trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and clients is vital. They may be involved in high-level negotiations and maintaining important partnerships.
- Reporting and Analysis: The Branch Sales Manager generates regular reports and analysis to provide insights into sales performance, market trends, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- The incumbent should have proven experience as a “self starter” with a strong element of dynamism and the ability to move fast and get things done. He should have the stature and the maturity that commands the respect of his peers.
- Have a knack of commercial orientation with the ability to run a profit center independently. Should have exposure in managing large teams and have prior experience in growing the scale of operations and enlarging the team size.
- Have an ownership mindset! And desire to run the Show Independently.
- Have very good people management, communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence a matrix of internal and external customers at varied levels.
