KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Consumer-Facing:
- Acting as our in-market authority on JD & the whole BF Portfolio by conducting whisky tastings and hosting unique brand experiences
- Supporting the planning and execution of experiential events
- Representing JACK DANIELS at priority media, consumer, and trade events
- Supporting the travel retail team by training staff and hosting key consumer and media events in priority airports
Influencer & Media Outreach:
- Influencer engagement in Nigeria and beyond
- Building influencer networks, including collectors and professional groups
- Creating and developing a JACK DANIELS social media following, adhering to brand social media guidelines
- Working with retained agencies to engage and build relations with relevant media and influencers.
Trade Facing:
- Delivering bespoke education and building elevated brand confidence within priority trade accounts, inspiring brand advocacy, and ensuring the front-of-mind presence
- Working collaboratively to identify opportunities and recommend change as required
- Building relationships and trust of key decision makers (e.g., beverage directors, buyers, bar staff)
- Creating and demonstrating JACK DANIELS & BF Portfolio serves and rituals to prioritize On-trade accounts.
Others:
- Working with the local Marketing team to implement a range of marketing activations and communications that are in line with brand DNA and objectives.
- Collaborating with the regional (working closely with the Brand Education Manager) & global ambassador community and actively contributing as part of the global education and marketeer network
- Identifying key brand-building initiatives in collaboration with local commercial teams
- Adherence to consumer data protection protocols via regular and appropriate use of CRM tools for managing relationships, communication and information.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with Premium and Super Premium brand(s) and their clientele.
- 5-7 years of experience in brand/portfolio management in a similar business
- Socially connected with Influencer communities in key markets
- Advanced social media skills (Facebook, Instagram etc)
- Category, brand and portfolio strategy expertise
- High net worth individual interaction and influence methods
- Must be of an age that adheres to Brown Forman Marketing Code of Conduct for responsible alcohol marketing
