Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research, optimizing business processes, and providing analytical support to enhance overall business performance.
  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and other techniques.
  • Deploy data analytics tools to analyze current business processes and systems to visualize key business metrics across departments and identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process maps, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address business needs.
  • Create reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and measure success of implemented changes.
  • Conduct gap analyses and feasibility studies to ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assist in project management activities, including planning, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis and project management.
  • Undertake board report consolidation and presentation across departments.
  • Drive strategy execution through periodic meeting adherence and follow-up

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / CA / ACCA / CIMA / ZICA
  • Valid Member of ZICA
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Experience in a similar industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, Visio, and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of business process modelling is preferred.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and conducting interviews to gather data requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks is a plus.
