Manage the business applications support function and ensures that policies and strategies are applied to efficiently support the life cycle of business applications including application installation, rationalization, support, maintenance and provision of training to end users. Responsible for support and system administration of CSR, Human Resources, Health, Safety, Environment, Training, Mining, Survey, Geology and other Operational off-the-shelf and custom developed applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the end-to-end process of selecting, deploying, support, maintenance and decommissioning of business applications
- Comply with established processes and procedures such as, configuration management and package maintenance
- Responsible for planning application system upgrades, installation of new releases, and migration to new systems
- Staying up to date with business applications used across the organization
- Manage the application inventory across the site including software contracts
- Coordinating and managing business application team to provide a support that aligns with IT & Digital SLAs
- Overseeing the change management process in implementing updates, improvements, and ensuring data security to business applications
- Developing and managing knowledge base and e-learning for use of business applications.
- Conducting regular internal audits on application usage and identifying opportunities for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, data science etc.
- Masters will be an added Advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in technology / digital leadership roles
- Business relationship certifications such as ITIL v4, BRMP (Business Relationship Management Professional), and CBRM (Certified Business Relationship Management)
- Python, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Azure Data Services
- Member of ICTAZ or EIZ
