Job description

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Contributing to effective data governance, including data quality, management, policies, and risk management.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to operations, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements and revenue optimization.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and business performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining data quality metrics and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Creating dashboards for management to provide a complete view of significant business metrics.
  • Working closely with the product development team to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Assisting the marketing team in developing effective campaigns based on customer behavior and market trends.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends in data analytics and business intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven 5-7 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, preferably in a multicurrency environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation languages and statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of FX and Remittance, financial services, and relevant industry trends is a plus.
  • Understanding of current data protection and privacy laws, e.g., GDPR.
