Delivery of designs and special projects peripheral to the TSF. Upgrading to the GISTM standards.
Job & Candidate Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D models our TSF and large Water Dams
- Produce drawings spanning concept, detailed, IFC and As-Builts
- Produce and maintain tailings deposition and decant management plans
- Monitor and report on TSF freeboard, beach length and Rate of Rise
- Work with engineers and survey to obtain inputs for models and drawings
- Ensure accuracy in design and clarity over confirmed verses assumed data
- File input data, models and drawings in a logical and structured manner
- Work with engineers to develop project solutions and TSF storage plans
- Collaborate with team members to help prepare reports and documentation
Skills and Expertise
- Minimum 2 -5 years Civil Design experience, preferably with mine site experience
- Civil Engineering Diploma or equivalent is highly regarded
- Good communication and relationship building with team members
- Excellent working knowledge with civil design software (AutoCAD, Civil3D)
- Good working knowledge of MUK3D, QGIS, ArcInfo is highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of civil design
- Ability to work well in a team environment, contributing to company goals
