To be responsible for ensuring the project teams are provided with constructible pipe CAD drawings that conform to relevant design codes and standards.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related Engineering qualification is required.
• Must have at least 7 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably for the oil and gas industry
• Solid understanding of CAD-specific software, e.g., AutoCAD (PDMS is an advantage), and all other relevant design software. Must have working knowledge of the latest applicable engineering codes and standards, design practices and design quality standards
• Solid knowledge and use of CAD design and drafting techniques, engineering drawing, graphic arts, reading of drawings
• Ability to create and modify P&lDs and PFDs, Piping Layout Drawings, etc
• Skill in reading, interpreting, and using related documents and drawings prepared by others. Participate in on-site verification of layout drawings and collect and provide proper site measurements and information as required.
• Prepare drawings utilized for tender documents.
