Technical Experts will report either to the corresponding Technical Objective Lead, or to the Chief of Party.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical experts will provide overall technical contributions in their respective Technical Area of focus.
- Ensure program objectives are achieved.
- Ensure compliance in line with Palladium and USAID reporting and requirements.
- Assist project programmatic and financial reporting.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Key Competencies Required:
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in one or more of the technical and operational areas outlined above
- At least 8 years of experience working with the private sector and agribusiness in Georgia preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proven experience developing and finalizing high quality deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders in the public and private sector, other donors, and other key stakeholders.
- Written and oral proficiency in English and Georgian
- Experience working with/for large donor organizations such as USAID preferred
- Advanced degree in business, agriculture, economics, finance, or other closely related field as relevant to position
