We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Technical Business Empowering as a Part-time Carpentry & Joinery instructor (Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning time only). The successful applicant will have relevant experience and a minimum of Carpentry & Joinery Certificate qualification. Delivering and maintaining standards expected by TEVETA in the area of Carpentry & Joinery.

Duties and responsibilities

• Deliver all forms of academic and vocational study relating to Carpentry & Joinery.
• Use innovation within your teaching and assessing.
• Carryout internal verification duties.
• Perform on-site assessments using a range of methods.
• Support the department with recruitment events.
• Carry out all duties with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

Qualification and Experience

• Carpentry & Joinery certificate or diploma required.

• 1 to 2 years of proven experience.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills and time management skills

• Excellent writing and literacy skills

• Computer knowledge a must – Excel, Word.

Salary: MK70,000
